Senior Planner
Craig is an Urban Planner with a Bachelor of Urban Planning from the University of Auckland. He has over 9 years’ experience all in the private planning sector. He is a full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute, and is in the process of becoming a Registered Professional Planner in Ontario.
Craig has undertaken a wide variety of work and has a range of experience across many areas of planning. Craig has undertaken land development work for municipalities, prepared zoning and policy amendments to municipal planning reports, and has undertaken consultation and engagement work on major projects.
Craig has experience leading projects and preparing complex planning reports for private sector clients in relation to mining, renewable energy, and land development. He has been involved in alliance consortiums responsible for providing rail and road infrastructure projects to improve transportation connectivity in Auckland, New Zealand. This includes New Zealand’s largest ever infrastructure project (the City Rail Link) involving the provision of underground rail infrastructure through the heart of Auckland City.
Craig’s diverse experience involved consideration of a range of sensitive planning issues, including culturally sensitive sites and sites with high biodiversity value such as wetlands and conservation lands.
Craig has proven and successful experience in preparing extensive planning assessments and navigating complex approval processes. Craig is well equipped to assist and advise clients on a wide range of planning issues.
